Who is Involved in the consultation?
1. A senior (or couple) and their adult child/children, or Power of Attorney for those that do not have family.
2. Sometimes we work just with the senior(s) only
3. Sometimes, we help just the adult child/children build a support plan, so they can assist their aging parents/loved one on their own.
How does the consultation work?
1. The consultant will meet you in your own home or any other location of choice, phone call, or zoom.
2. Family members can join the discussion in person or remotely if they live far away.
3. We discuss and assess the current health, functional, social, housing, and financial/legal situation.
4. All have an opportunity to share their thoughts, concerns, and goals.
5. The recommendations report details exactly what the challenges are and how to address those challenges.
What is the cost?
Cost depends on what consultation services or package one needs
Is this covered by Long Term Care Insurance or Medicare?
This is an out-of-pocket expense. It is private pay.
What are the possible outcomes?
1. A clear and detailed plan for living well.

When should I use a Senior Care Consultant?
Senior Care Solutions Consulting is happy to discuss at any stage of life. Assistance is usually sought after a medical crisis has occurred, and families recognize they are not as prepared as they should be. However, I really encourage families to plan prior to a crisis occurring.
Some reasons to begin preparing:
1. Imminent or recent retirees who want to understand options, and the costs of future care.
2. Healthy and active older adults who wish to maintain a high level of health and energy.
3. Older adults who are starting to experience some challenges and would like to get ahead of a serious event happening.
4. Older adults who have experienced a health issue, and need a care and support plan, i.e. Home Health.
5. Families who would like to know how they can best support their aging parents.
6. Family caregivers who are working and/or managing their own families and need help in supporting their older adult parents or loved ones.
